Where We Invest - Bourgas
Bourgas is the second-largest city on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast (205,821). It is situated in the farthest western part of the Bourgas Bay and 390 km east of Sofia. Due to the low level of the coast in the area, three lagoon-lakes (the Atanassovo, Bourgas, and Mandren lakes) lie in the area surrounding the city.
Bourgas has the largest and most important Bulgarian port. Today the town is a key economic, cultural and tourist centre of southeastern Bulgaria. The Bourgas’ international airport operates regular flights to Sofia and Europe every day. It serves the resorts of the southern Bulgarian coast. The railway station of Bourgas has connections to all parts of the country. The express train to Sofia travels for around 6 hours.
